The WRU 400 / WRU 410 readers are reading, writing and receiving units at the same time
and are designed for connection to the WTC 200 controller. Together they form the
corresponding WT 400 or WT 410 wall terminal sets.
Reading:
When a transponder is presented, the access data stored on it is read and forwarded to the
controller for evaluation.
Writing:
When using the validation function, the access authorisations for offline access points can be
limited in time or updated daily. The WRU 400 / WRU 410 serves as a validation terminal for
this purpose, which writes the updated access data to the transponder
Notes for the
validation function in the Dialock 2.0 software manual.
Receiving:
Since the WRU 400 / WRU 410 has low power wireless technology, it can receive the access
data (with the appropriate infrastructure) by holding a digital end device (Android / iOS) up to
it and can pass it on to the controller (electronic control unit) for evaluation. The controller
checks the authorisation and, if necessary, gives the opening signal.
In combination with a separate power supply unit (not included in the scope of delivery) and
other components, the wall terminal set is an access control system for use in hotels, hospitals
and other buildings.
The readers are installed near doors in indoor areas and supplied with voltage via the RS485
interface on the controller.
Use of the WRU 400 outdoors is permitted under certain conditions
2.2 Proper use of the
outdoor version, page 65.
The functions are controlled via Dialock software 2.0. When a user key or a digital terminal
device (e.g. smartphone or tablet with a corresponding app) is presented, the access data
is tested by the Dialock software and the signal for opening the access point is given to the
normally closed contact if the access point if authorisation is granted. Feedback to the user /
guest takes place via the acoustic and optical signal generator to the readers.
The WTC 200 controller is intended for mounting on a top hat rail in combination with the
power supply unit.
The controller transmits the information received by the reader to the Dialock software.
The communication between software and controller takes place by means of the encrypted
configuration data saved on a Micro SD card. Operation without a constant server connection
is possible with the help of this stored data.
Other components such as door signalling contacts, electric strikes, door release buttons,
external signal generators, etc. can be connected to the controller and configured via the
software. This means that different installation options are possible
19. Installation examples, page 108
The design of the WRU 400 / WRU 410 enables easy installation in flush-mount sockets
according to DIN 49073 as well as cavity boxes. The WRU 410 is intended for the switch
ranges from manufacturer GIRA of "System 55".
