The MT Tumbler 800 & 800 MED are distributed with a trimming mechanism that cannot be altered by the consumer.
It is made up of three blocks with a rotating grinder and a flexible stainless steel fixed blade on each one. The steel
blade adapts at all times to the helical profile of the grinder, without stopping to create a shear cut identical to that of
scissors at all times.
The two trimming wires always remain in contact, with no gaps or dead zones. The effective trimming length of each
block is 90 cm. The flowers always have three trimming points along the barrel, thus reducing the trimming time and
the risk of damage to the processed product or flowers. If the helical reels or blades are changed or cleaned, it is im-
perative to comply with all the safety regulations mentioned in this manual.
The helical reels are subjected to thermal processes to harden their surface and to surface treatments to prevent
rusting.
The machines have been designed for easy use, maintenance and safety. The main components that are in contact
with the flowers are easily disassembled, in a few minutes, by hand and without the use of tools. Cleaning is simple,
quick and efficient.
11. Start-up
11.1. Assembling the MT Tumbler 800 & 800 MED
The MT Tumbler 800 & 800 MED are delivered fully protected and boxed. First of all, it is necessary to open the box
and check that all the material received is as specified in this manual and is in optimum condition. It is recommen-
ded that the machine and all supplied components are placed on a flat surface for assembly.
