or commercial department of MASTER PRODUCTS to request assistance.
Routine or preventive maintenance is a necessary safety practice. It takes only a few basic steps and will help to ensure
a long and reliable service life of your equipment. Some equipment components are susceptible to retaining and
accumulating resinous particles due to the nature of the product being processed. Over time, this can interfere with
the overall performance of the equipment. Keeping them clean, disinfected and sterilised is very important for the
non-contamination of the product to be processed and to allow the desired nominal volumes to be reached, in short,
for the equipment to be used as efficiently as possible. Basically, the maintenance tasks to be carried out are exclusi-
vely cleaning tasks.
The recommended general cleaning procedure to be followed is detailed below.
The machines have been designed for ease of use, maintenance and safety. The main components that are in contact
with the product to be processed can be disassembled quickly and easily, in a matter of minutes, by hand and without
the use of tools. Cleaning is simple, quick and efficient.
The intensity and frequency of washing will depend on the conditions of the product to be treated. MASTER PRODUCTS
recommends washing the barrel and trimmer blocks at least once every 4 hours of operation. For optimum
cleaning, use hot water, a soapy sponge and Master Clean liquid. The rest of the equipment should be washed and
sanitized at the end of each working day (8h).
Maintenance work must always be carried out with the machine stopped and with the
electricity supply disconnected. Always wear protective gloves for maintenance operations.
14.1. Cleaning

disconnect the machine from the mains by unplugging it. Next, press the on/off switch on the control panel of the
suction system to switch off the machine if it is in operation. Then disconnect the unit from the power supply by
unplugging it. Finally, loosen the hose clamp to remove the end of the hose from the main hopper opening of the
machine.
The machine must be stopped and disconnected before manipulating it.
