10. Finally, remove the brush by holding it at both ends and pulling it perpendicular to the brush holders as shown
in the picture below. The brush will be free and can be cleaned individually.
11. Once all the above actions have been carried out, gradually introduce the different disassembled components
into an ultrasonic washing machine, such as the Master Sonic 800, to clean and remove any remaining product.
This is a very important step to achieve a clean and precise cut during the production process. If you do not have an
ultrasonic cleaning machine, you can use either a high-pressure cleaning machine with pressurized water at around
70ºC or a sponge, hot water and MASTER CLEAN liquid.
It is important to pay attention to the following components:
- Electrical components such as motors, sensors, leds...
- Control panel
- Bearings
12. Once the cleaning process has been completed, and the equipment is completely dry, reverse the above steps
to reassemble the equipment.
15. Adjustments
15.1. Reels height
In order to achieve an efficient production process and precise trimming, the reel wires and bed knives must always
remain in contact with each other, without gaps or dead zones.
MASTER PRODUCTS subjects the surfaces of these components to heat treatments in order to harden them, in-
crease their resistance and prolong their useful life, but inevitably wear will occur on them, making it necessary to
adjust the height of the reels with respect to the bed knives eventually.
It is essential that the blocks, to which the reels to be adjusted belong, are not mounted on the machines. They
must be outside the machines and in a safe place that guarantees their stability and allows the operators to handle
them.
All you need is a No. 8 open-end spanner, a No. 3 Allen key and a paper with a minimum thickness of 80-100 g to
make the adjustment. The steps to follow are as follows:
