1. Identify, on each of the outer faces of the blocks, the four hexagonal screws and loosen them without removing
them, using the open-end spanner No. 8.
2. Using Allen key No. 3, adjust the height of the reels by loosening or tightening, as required, the screw shown in
red in the following image. To raise the reel, turn the spanner clockwise, and to lower it, turn it counter clockwise.
Repeat the same operation on the screw on the opposite side of the block.
3. Place the paper of 80-100 gr thickness between the thread of the grinder and the counter-blade. Turn the grinder,
holding the paper with one hand and turning the side gear with the other. If the cut is clean, it means that the
grinder is well-adjusted. Repeat this operation several times along the entire length of the grinder.
The friction between the trimming and the bed knife must be kept to a minimum.
4. After reaching the desired trim, tighten the four screws at each end and place the trim block back into the machi-
ne. Swivel the two circular locks on each side of the control panel until they stop, thus securing the trimming
blocks by pressure.
