ATTENTION!
The passive PoE power supply included in the WEG Cassia X2000 package has two RJ45 connectors,
one for data input (IN) and another for data and power output (OUT). Pay attention to the connection
direction so as not to damage the equipment connected to it. Do not connect any product with
Ethernet connection other than the Cassia X2000 gateway to the output (OUT) port, as this may
cause irreparable damage.
NOTE!
To remove the Ethernet cable once installed, use the screwdriver supplied with the product or a small,
pointed tool of your choice to press the plastic release tab on the cable.
4.5.1.2 Via DC 12 V Connector
NOTE!
This type of power supply is not included in the product. If you use this type of source, check the
following characteristics when purchasing it:
- The output voltage of the source must be 12 V.
- The power of the source must be 12 W or more (equal to or greater than 12 V 1 A).
- The DC connector must have an internal diameter of 2.5 mm, an external diameter of 5.5 mm, and
the 12 V voltage must be inside the connector.
Remove the DC 12 V silicone plug (M22 x 1.5) on the bottom, pass the cable with the DC 12 V connector through
the cable gland, insert the connector into the port indicated by DC 12 V on the X2000 and screw the cable gland
in the order of (a), (b) and (c). The torque in step (c) must be smaller than the torque in step (a).
