MAINTENANCE
1. Do not attempt to make any adjustments
while the tools is in operation.
2. Clean out any accumulated dust.
3. Do not allow petroleum base on products
to come into contact with plastic parts as they
contain chemicals that can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic.
4. This impact wrench will require lubrication
after 30 continuous hour or 50 intermittent
hours of use. Refer to the parts diagram or
contact an approved service center for lubrica-
tion services.
5. Keep the vent passage clear from dirt, clean
off the accumulated dust and oil dirt periodi-
cally.
6. During normal operation, if anything happens,
the power supply should be cut off at once and
the tool should be checked and repaired.
The damaged carbons (burnt, broken or less
than 5 mm) must be changed
NOTE: Unplug wrench before inspecting brush-
es!
7. The brushes should be checked periodically
and worn-out brushes should be replaced in
time. Loosen the plastic caps located in the
side of the motor housing to reveal the spring
and brush assembly. After replacing, inspect
whether the new brushes can move freely in
the brush holder. Keep running the motor for
15 minutes to match the contact of the brushes
and commutator.
8. Place the new carbon brushes. The brushes
must enter the brush holder easily. The normal
size of the carbon brushes is shown below:
After use, check the tool to make sure that it
is in top condition. It is recommended that you
take this tool to an Authorized Service Center
for a thorough cleaning and lubrication at
least once a year.
