Symbol clarification

1. This designation means that this product must not be
disposed of with other household waste in the European
Union. Please be aware that VidaXL is making a return and
collection system available to you for discarding these
products. This possibility is free of cost. When you recycle
WEEE or batteries/accumulators you are helping to prevent
that the products are not incinerated or sent to landfills.
Therefore, you are helping to minimize the potential
negative impact on human health and the environment.
Responsible recycling can increase the reuse of material
resources and avoid potential damage to the environment
or health from uncontrolled waste disposal.
2. Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the
batteries! Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual
domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and
are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and
regulations. You may dispose of used batteries at a local
collection point.
2 Warnings and personal safety

•
The drive should be disconnected from its power source
during cleaning, maintenance, and when replacing parts.
•
LpA is not greater than 70 dB(A).
•
Warning: The fabric should not be sunken during operation,
otherwise, water will accumulate on it.
•
This product requires at least 3 adults to assemble.
•
The instruction for use shall be provided to the end user.
•
The external blind shall be retracted in case the wind speed
is higher than 28km/h.
•
Permissible load for non-retractable part is 800 Pa.
•
Don't modify the product without consulting the
manufacturer or his authorized representative.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
•
Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed
wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
•
Frequently examine the installation for imbalance and signs
of wear or damage to cables and springs.
•
Do not use if repair or adjustment is necessary.
•
Do not operate the awning when maintenance, such as
window cleaning, is being carried out in the vicinity.
•
Operation in frosty conditions may damage the awning.
•
Never install it in high and windy places, as the sunshade

may drop and hurt people.
•
Don't use it in places that have vibrations or impulsions.
•
Don't use it in places of high temperature such as walls near
furnaces.
•
Don't put heavy stuff on the frame as it may fall down and
cause damages.
•
Never use it for other purposes.
•
Be careful with your fingers during installation.
•
Please use all the screws and nuts correctly during
installation as it is very dangerous if you leave them loose.
•
Be careful during installation, crushing and shearing risks
may exist.
•
Please do not unpick and wash the fabric. If you need
replace the fabric, please turn to the experts for help.
•
Retract the awning in case of rain if the slope is not in the
range of the value recommended in the instruction.
6 Warnings
•
Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard.
•
This product contains a coin / button cell battery. If the coin
/ button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe
internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
•
Keep new and used batteries away from children.
•
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop
using the product and keep it away from children.
•
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed
inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical
attention.
