Specific Operating Instructions
This completely new designed, High-Performance-Fence-Energizer owns an intelligent POWERtronic-technology,
which gives you the possibility of an automatic power-adaptation of your fence-system. POWERtronic achieves excellent
fencing security with minimal current consumption and offers unique and maximimal flexibility and a variety of
combinations of power sources, such as 12V, 9V, 12+solar, 9V+solar and mains supply. Of course the solar-charge-
regulator is already integrated with POWERtronic.
POWERtronic - the future-orientated technology - is already available to you today.

Operating modes:

On- / Off switch: Press operating knob (2) as long (approx. 3sec.) as

By turning the operation knob the display goes into the adjustment-mode, the power-levels can now be adjusted

The actual voltage of the current-source is shown by short pressing of the operating knob during the OFF-condition or during
normal operation.
Possible current-sources:
- 12 Volt (approx.80-85Ah) accumulator (ideal value: 12,6 – 13,8V)
- 9 Volt (175 Ah) „Alcaline"-battery (ideal value: 7.8 - 9V, during the current operation!)
Optional additionally with solar-modules possible ( max. 50W solar-module
- special 230 Volt mains-adapter No. 371012 (keeps charging status but not suitable for recharging the 12V accumulator)

b.) Starting the appliance without fence and earth connection:
General:
The appliance is opened by mutual opening of the closing-tabs (8).
Close the appliance solidly before a new start. Operate only in up standing position; see above picture (b).
12V / 9V - operation
Always connect first the enclosed 12V - or 9V - connection cable to the battery or the accumulator. Pay attention on correct polarity
(red + and black -) when connecting the battery or the accumulator. Than put the battery or the accumulator into the housing, lead the
ventilation tube of the accumulator (if existing) outside through the gap! Now connect the plug of the connection cable with the plug (9)
at the top casing. Start the appliance by longer pressing (approximately 3sec.) of the operating knob (2) without fence and earth.
If the fence voltage indicator light (4) flashes green and a voltage of higher 4kV is indicated on the display, the appliance is ready to
start. If the battery indicator light (3) flashes red additionally, then the battery should be recharged soon resp. being replaced soon. If
only the battery indicator light (3) flashes red and the indicated fence-voltage is 0.0, this means that the battery has to be changed
resp. the accumulator has to be recharged without any delay. If none of the indicator lights is blinking and no value is indicated on the
display, first check the polarity of the connection cable at the current-source resp. contact your expert for a check.
In case of operation with a solar-module / mains adapter (see below b.) the accumulator / battery should always be connected, before
the solar-module / mains adapter is connected to the solar-socket (otherwise the danger of a short circuit exists). Before connecting to
the fence, switch OFF the appliance with the operating knob (2) and switch ON only after connection again.
Operation with a 230V mains adapter
a.) 230V–mains adapter-operation (without accumulator/batterie connected):
1. In case of operating without connected battery, remove absolutely first the connection cable of the plug (9).
2. Put the plug of the 230V-adapter into the solar-socket (1), and then connect with the mains supply.
