Setting a switch-off time
A switch-off time can be set for the sensors in case the control electronics of the sensors cannot connect to the
tachometer (e.g. no speed signal or signal via a CAN bus adapter such as CBI150).
Note Switches automatically to 00 when a speed signal is present.

MWE9104F: Set function 37 to the required value (time in s).
Supressing the display of fixed objects
Note Ensure that there are no people or other objects around the vehicle during the setting process.
The display of protruding parts (e.g. trailer hitch, spare wheel) can be supressed.

no longer displayed.

Deactivating the sensors during trailer operation (only MWE9104)
If the trailer hitch is used with a trailer (e.g. caravans, horse trailers), the parking aid can be turned off.
CAUTION! Risk of injury
Connected trailers (e.g. caravans, horse trailers) may be within the detection range of the parking aid.
Deactivate the sensors during trailer operation to avoid distractions of the driver caused by a possible false
alarm of the parking aid.
Only for trailer operation: Set function 60 to 00 to deactivate the sensors.
Note By factory setting, function 60 is set to 00, i.e. the sensors are automatically deactivated as
soon as a ground signal is present at the parking aid. A ground signal connection is established be-
tween PIN 12 of the hook connector (13-pin according to ISO 11446) from the trailer and PIN 6 of
the parking aid (see chapter
PIN assignment of
connector). Use the yellow/blue (ye/bu) cable.
