Please keep and save these instructions.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including
the following:
1. This appliance is not intended for use by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge. Children should not play with the appliance. Close supervision
is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
2. Get acquaintance with the technical data, available in the package or on the rating label, prior to connect the
appliance to the electrical source of power. Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight, hot surfaces,
moisture, sharp edges etc. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put cord, plug, or base in water or other liquid. A short
power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If the
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its Authorized Service Center in order to avoid a
hazard.
4. Always unplug the appliance when not in use, not supervised, before assembly, disassembly, accessory or
attachments change or cleaning. Always unplug the appliance by pulling the plug and not the power cord.
5. Before use check if the appliance is not damaged. Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
aſter the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Never attempt any repairs of the
appliance as the improper re-assembly may lead to injuries or even death. Any repairs must be performed by
an Authorized Service Center.
6. Only use manufacturers recommended attachments. The use of attachments not recommended by
producer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
7. This appliance is intended to normal household use. Use only as described in manual. Do not use outdoors.
The appliance should not be operated in a damp place or high humidity (such as the bathroom). Do not leave
the appliance unattended while operation.
8. Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and a soſt soap liquid. Never immerse it in water for cleaning; do not
clean the appliance with the cloth full of water; do not let water flow inside the appliance - electric shock and
damage the appliance may occur! Do not clean with sharp cloth or abrasive sponge due to possibility of
damage. Do not use any chemically aggressive substances for cleaning. Dry the appliance and its parts
thoroughly before next use.
9. Do not use the appliance if the power cord with plug or the housing are wet. To reduce the risk of electrocu-
tion, never operate this product with wet hands, submerge under water or spill liquids into the appliance.
10. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
11. Only connect the appliance to grounded sockets - this is a mandatory requirement for protection against
electric shock. Using an extension cord socket, make sure it is also grounded.
12. At the first use, an odor may appear, which is not a result of a malfunction of the device. In this case, clean
the device as mentioned in this instruction.
13. Warning! Packing material (film, styrofoam, etc.) can be dangerous for children. To avoid danger of
suffocation, keep the packaging away from children.
14. The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible
conditions or situations that could occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and
caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
15. The manufacturer has the right to make changes to the design, configuration, as well as to the technical
characteristics of the product in the course of continuous improvement of its products without additional
notification of these changes.
16. This kettle is made from the borosilicate glass. Be careful - glass can break and cut you. In the case of cuts,
seek medical advice immediately.
17. Take the kettle by handle, do not touch the surface of the main body - you can get burned. Be careful with
hot water in a kettle - you can get burned. In case of burns, seek medical advice immediately.
18. The base and exterior of the kettle are not water-resistant, keep it dry at all times.
19. Under no circumstances must the kettle be placed in water or any liquid or come in contact with liquid. Do
not handle the kettle with wet or moist hands. Should the kettle become wet or moist, remove the main plug
from the socket immediately.
20. Use the kettle only for its intended purpose.
21. The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
22. Use only cold water when filling the device.
