WARNING

to familiarize yourself with the location of various controls and adjust-
ments. Save this manual for future reference.
BEAM LOCKS
These two locks are used to secure the beam in the horizontal or
the vertical position. The vertical beam lock is located on the tanks
bracket. The horizontal beam lock is located on the beam support latch
bracket.
WEDGE
The wedge is used to split the wood.
COUPLER HITCH
The coupler hitch is at the end of the tongue and attaches to a tow ball
for transportation purposes.

Be familiar with all the controls and their proper operation. Know how
to stop the machine and disengage them quickly.
Always wear safety glasses when operating this equipment or while
performing any adjustments or repairs on it.
CONTROL HANDLE
The control handle is used to move the wedge up and down to split
wood. The control handle has three positions; Forward, Neutral and
Reverse. See the "Using the Log Splitter" section for instructions.
LOG DISLODGER
The log dislodger is designed to remove any partially split wood from
the wedge. This may occur while splitting large diameter wood or
freshly cut wood.
RECOIL STARTER HANDLE
Used to start the engine.
