Using the remote control
The air conditioner can also be controlled via the infra-red remote control supplied. The
keys on the remote control are the same as those on the climate control panel, and the
functions correspond perfectly.
Orient the remote control towards the sensor on the front of the appliance. The maximum
operating angle is 30° horizontally and 20° vertically.
Avoid any obstacles between the remote control and the sensor. In order for it to work
properly, the remote control must be used at a maximum distance of 2.5 meters (8 feet)
from the appliance. The transmission window of the remote control and the sensor of
the appliance must always be clean. Direct sunlight can affect operation of the remote
control.
The remote control uses 1 CR2025 button battery. The battery life depends on the
frequency of use. Use only batteries without harmful substances (lead, cadmium,
mercury). Replace depleted batteries immediately with new ones.
Do not use rechargeable batteries. To replace, remove the rear compartment cover
and insert the new battery, paying attention to the polarity.
Reversing the polarity could irreparably damage the remote control. Refit the battery
compartment cover.
The batteries, packaging and the appliance must be disposed of according to the
relevant provisions. They must not be disposed of in household waste.
If the remote control is not used for long periods, remove the battery.
