• When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since
the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is
switched off. For additional protection, the installation of a residual
current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the
bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
• Do not use the dryer with wet hands or in the bath or shower. Do not
use this hair dryer near water in bath-tubs, basins or other vessels.
Do not leave or store the dryer near a tub, sink or other place where it
will be exposed to water and other liquids or high humidity.
• Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive products.
• The dryer is fitted with a heat-sensitive safety device. In the event
of overheating (for example if the rear grate is covered), the dryer
will stop automatically. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for
a few minutes. Before switching the appliance on again, check the
grates to make sure they are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc.
• Do not direct the airflow towards the eyes other sensitive areas.
• Close supervision is necessary when the dryer is used by or near
children and the disabled.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
• Please remove hair from the intake grate immediately to keep the
appliance in working order.
• Never block the air grilles.
• Clean the appliance after use to avoid the accumulation of grease
and other residues.
