BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, make sure the 4 feet are fitted correctly
underneath the appliance. Never use the appliance if the feet are not fitted correctly as this
would damage the appliance and the work surface underneath the appliance.
USE
•
First check that the voltage marked on the product is the same as your supply voltage.
•
Select a suitable position close to an electric socket, on a dry and even surface.
•
Make sure the controls are in the OFF position (
•
The invisible protective coating must be removed before you can use the appliance. To
do this, set the controls to the maximum setting and leave switched on for approximately
10 minutes. Smoke will develop, make sure that the room is ventilated. Switch off the
cooking plates and allow to cool down completely. The cooking plates are now ready for
use.

Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the cooking plates.
The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the cooking plates.

Select the temperature. The cooking plates have a range of temperatures.
•
Due to the cooking plates' construction, residual heat will remain after switching off. This
may be used to keep food warm for a short period.

After use, turn the temperature dials to "
electrical outlet.
CLEANING
•
Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.
•
Wipe with a moistened cloth.
•
Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish.
•
Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing
waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with
the directive.
ErP Declaration – Regulation 1275/2008/EC
We, Team Kalorik Group SA/NV, hereby confirm that our product meets the requirements of
regulation 1275/2008/EC. Admittedly, our product does not dispose of a function to minimize
the power consumption, which should according to regulation 1275/2008/EC put the product
in off or standby mode after finishing the main function, but this is practically impossible, as it
would compromise the main function of the product so strongly, that using the product would
no longer be possible!
For this reason we always tell the customer in our instruction manual to unplug the appliance
immediately after use.
The user manual is by simple request also available in electronic format from the after-sales
service (see warranty card).
