DESIGNATED USE
The appliance is designed exclusively for the cleaning of ma-
chinery, vehicles, buildings, utensils and in general surfaces
suitable for treatment with a high pressure jet of cleaning solu-
tion at between 25 and 500 bar. (360 - 7300 PSI).
It has been designed for use with the detergents supplied or
recommended by the Manufacturer. The use of other deter-
gents or chemicals products may jeopardise the safety of the
appliance.
This appliance must be used exclusively for the purposes for
which it was designed.
All other uses are considered improper and unreasonable.
Examples of unreasonable use include:
- Washing surfaces not suitable for treatment with a high pres-
sure jet.
- Washing people, animals, electrical appliances and the
appliance itself.
- Use of unsuitable detergents or chemical products.
- Blocking the lance trigger in the delivery position.
Improper, incorrect or unreasonable use absolves the Manu-
facturer of all liability.
All high pressure washers are constructed in compliance with
current safety standards and regulations.
SAFETY REGULATIONS
HIGH PRESSURE HOSE:

Danger
- Use original high pressure hoses only.
- Check the high pressure hose daily. Do not use hoses if
visibly damaged.
- Do not use hoses if the threading on the couplings is da-
maged.
- Do not use high pressure hoses which have been bent.
- Do not use high pressure hoses if the steel braiding is visible
on the surface.
- Protect the high pressure hose from accidental crushing.
- The high pressure hose must never be placed under mecha-
nical stress.
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
UNPACKING
After unpacking the high pressure washer, make sure it is intact
and undamaged.
If in doubt, do not use. Contact your dealer.
Packaging elements (plastic bags, boxes, nails, etc.) must not
be left within reach of children as they are a potential source of
English
danger and must be disposed of or stored in compliance with
national environmental protection standards.
ASSEMBLING DISASSEMBLED PARTS OF THE MACHI-
NE
The main parts of the machine and safety devices are assem-
bled by the Manufacturer.
To facilitate packing and transport, a number of secondary
components of the high pressure washer are supplied disas-
sembled.
The user is responsible for assembling these components ac-
cording to the instructions provided in each assembly kit.
RATING PLATE:
The rating plate with the prin-
cipal technical characteristics
of your high pressure washer
is located on the trolley and is
always visible (fig. 1).

Important
On receipt of the product, make sure the rating plate is
present. Otherwise contact the Manufacturer and/or dealer
immediately.
Use of equipment without a rating plate absolves the Manu-
facturer of all liability. Products without a rating plate must
be considered anonymous and potentially dangerous.
COMMAND AND CONTROL DEVICES
Before connecting the high pressure washer to the mains
electricity and water supplies, you should familiarise yourself
with the command and control devices.
To do this, follow the instructions in this manual and refer to
the relative figures.
SAFETY DEVICES
The safety devices protect the user and the appliance. They
must not be tampered with or used for other than their desi-
gnated purpose.
Main switch: prevents the appliance from functioning acciden-
tally. Turn the appliance off during pauses in work or when you
have finished working.
Thermostatic valve: limits the temperature of the water in the
pump during the by-pass phase.
Flow switch: turns the machine off if the water flow is insuf-
ficient.
No water: prevents the machine being turned on if the mains
water pressure is insufficient.
Safety valve: protects the high pressure hydraulic circuit in
the event of a by-pass valve malfunction or if the hydraulic
