Measuring your blood pressure
Interruption of Measurement
To interrupt a measurement you can press
the button of the release valve until all air
has been expelled from the cuff. (To repeat
a measurement, simply reinflate the cuff.)
After inflation the air is automatically re-
leased. The decreasing cuff pressure is re-
gistered the left side of the display.
As soon as the first pulsations are registe-
red, symbol blinks in rhythm with the
pulse.
As soon as the registered pulse is ready to
evaluated by the microprocessor the unit
emits a bleep, again in pulse rhythm.At this
point it is crucial that the arm with the cuff
is not being moved.
The completion of the measurement is in-
dicated by an extended bleep while the
two measurement values in the display re-
main static.
Symbol lights up to indicate that the
quick air release can now be initiated.
¬ To do this, press the valve button until
all the air has been expelled from the
cuff.
