Silencing the alarm in the presence of smoke
Presence of smoke:
1 red flash/1 s
Audible alarm signal
Press the Test button. The alarm signal stops. It also stops on
the interlinked detectors.
Silencing is enabled for 10 minutes: 1 red flash / 7 s (if smoke
is present: 1 red flash / 2 s). The detector is silenced for
10 minutes.
Silencing the alarm before smoke is present
Before smoke is present:
Detector in stand-by mode
1 red flash / 50 s
Hold the Test button down for 2 seconds. After the audible test
signal, 3 short beeps confirm that the alarm has been silenced.
Silencing is enabled for 10 minutes: 1 red flash / 7 s (if smoke
is present: 1 red flash / 2 s). The detector is silenced for
10 minutes.
Re-enabling of a detector in silent mode
Silencing can be cancelled before the end of the 10 minutes.
Detector is silenced: 1 red flash / 7s in the presence of smoke.
Press the Test button; there are 2 short beeps and silencing is
cancelled.
Returning the detector to stand-by mode: 1 red flash approx.
every 50 s.
Battery fault postponement
Operation
In the event of a battery fault, the detector beeps
approximately once every 50 s.
This signal can be temporarily postponed.
Battery fault postponement
Battery fault indicated: 1 long beep + 1 red flash approximately
every 50 s.
Press the Test button. 3 short beeps confirm postponement of
the battery fault signal for approximately 12 hours.
12 hours later: 1 long beep + 1 red flash approximately every
50 s. The error is indicated again.
Disabling the detector (temporarily or for
disposal)
1.
Remove the tab from its holder.
2.
Insert the tab between the tip of the battery and the metal
part.
3.
Press the Test button to check that power has been
removed.
For disposal, deposit your products at a reprocessing collection
point.

Identification of audible event signals
5 short fast beeps: Power up
3 short fast beeps: Entering interlinking mode
1 short beep / 1 s: Detected smoke level close to alarm
level.
2 consecutive short beeps: Event acknowledgement
(exiting silent mode)
3 consecutive short beeps: Event acknowledgement
(enabling silent mode)
1 to 5 repeated beeps / 2 s: Locating mode (radio
connection quality measurement)
Identification of illuminated event signals
1 red flash / 1 s: Switch to alarm mode (local or other
interconnected detectors)
1 red flash / 7 s: Silencing device enabled without smoke
Blue flash: Radio signal emission
Blue flashing (2 s): Interlinking in progress (automatic exit
after 15 min, an audible signal sounds, the blue LED
remains lit a few seconds and then goes off)
1 red flash / 2 sec: Silencing device enabled in the
presence of smoke
1 red flash / 50 s: Detector is in normal operating mode
Identification of audible and illuminated event signals
1 red flash + 1 long beep / 50 s: Battery fault (main power
source, see instructions above).
Installation instructions
Required tools: see Figure 7.
Note:
Kit with screws and wall plugs included.
For mounting on hollow material, we recommend the use of
appropriate expansion wall plugs.
1.
Place the base on the ceiling
2.
Orient the test button so that it will be visible
3.
Mark the locations where the two holes must be drilled to
insert the wall plugs.
4.
Drill the holes, and insert the wall plugs.
5.
Secure the base using the two screws.
6.
Place the detector on its base
7.
Make a clockwise rotation until it locks.
Test
Test with test button
We recommend testing the operation of your detector once a
week.
Briefly press the Test button (less than 2 seconds). See
Figure 1, item 1.
