4-11 DIODE TEST

Same procedure as for continuity test and next press the
In forward direction: the reading is in V (4 V range)
In reverse direction: display of the maximum open circuit voltage
4-12 ADAPTER INPUT
Set the switch to ADP: ADP and RANGE are displayed. Connect the
accessory (thermometric probe, luxmeter sensor, tachometer probe...)
with mV DC output to the voltage input of the clamp. The clamp is now on
the range 4000 mV DC (1 mV DC/count). The display gives the value with
sign (+ or -), without indication of the unit in mV DC, for easy conversion of
the reading (in °C, lux, rpm...).
4-13 HOLD display
The HOLD function is active in all the configurations.
- A press on the HOLD button freezes the display: HOLD is displayed. Access
to the Hz, MIN/MAX, AC/DC and DC zero functions is inhibited.
- A second press resets the clamp to normal mode.
Normal mode → HOLD → Normal mode
NB: on MIN or MAX mode, entry into the HOLD function is only indicated by a sound
