of the hinge side (figure 1, risk D).
Foot drag on the bottom edge
(figure 1, risk E).
Dragging of the hands in the drive
group (figure 1, risk F).
Dragging, snagging and cutting
caused by the shape of the moving
leaf (figure 1, risk G).

compatibility risks.
Direct or indirect contacts. Dis-
persion of electrical energy.
Risks of electromagnetic compa-
tibility.
Safety and reliability of the dri-
ve group and of the command
and safety devices.
Safety conditions in the event of
a breakdown and failure of the
power supply.
Start-up and stop of the drive
group.
Power switch.
Consistency of the commands.
Enclosure risks.
EVALUATION CRITERIA AND SOLUTIONS TO ADOPT
*Check the presence of a safety distance ≤ 25 mm. Or well:
*Apply protections that prevent the fingers from entering (for example a rubber profile).
*The safety distance between the leaf and the pavement must avoid the risk of
scuff.
IMPORTANT: If the safety distance is not equal at all points due to the slope of the
pavement, it is advisable to mount protections (for example rubber profiles).
*If the distances between the motor and the leaf vary, check that there is a ≤ 25 mm safety
distance, or fit protections (for example rubber covers or profiles).
*
Eliminate or protect sharp edges, handles, protruding parts ... (for example by rubber
covers or profiles).
*Use components and materials with CE mark.
*Make electrical connections, network connections, earth connections and the
corresponding controls, in accordance with current regulations and as indicated in the
installation manual of the motor.
*Use components with CE mark. Make the installation as indicated in the installation
manual of the motor.
*Use drive groups conforming to EN 12453 and safety devices in compliance with
EN 12978.
*Check that after a breakdown or a power failure, the drive group resumes the operation
safely, without creating dangerous situations.
*Install an omnipolar switch for electrical insulation of the door, according to
current regulations. This switch must be installed and protected from involuntary or
unauthorized activations.
*Install the commands (for example the key switch) in such a way that the user will not
find in a dangerous area and verify that the user understands the meaning of
the commands (for example the function selector).
*Use radio controls with CE mark and in accordance with the frequencies admitted in
every country.
*Install a release device for unlocking the automation that permit you open and close
manually the leaf with a maximum force of 225 N.
Provide users a means and instructions to release the automation, check that the device
has easy operation and do not generate additional risks.
