OPERATING THE SWITCH
Locking button
Power switch
To turn on the tool, firstly press down the locking button and then the power switch button. (The
power switch button can be pressed down only after the locking button has been pressed.)
After the tool is turned on, the locking button can be released.
To turn off the tool, just release the power switch button.
CAUTION
Before turning the tool on, inspect the power switch to make sure it is easy to press and in the
right position.
OPERATION
First of all, place the tool on top of the workpiece, resting it on the adjustable sole. Resting the
tool in this way prevents the blades from touching the wood. Press the power switch.
Once the tool is up to speed, move the planer forward. When starting, exert more pressure at
the front of the planer; when finishing, exert more at the rear.
The routing or planing results depend on the speed and depth. The depth can be increased for
simple jobs.
PLANING CORNERS
For routing as indicated in Figure 5, align the V-shaped probe in the front cover with the edge of
the piece being parked and then start planing.
