2.- INTRODUCTION:
Read carefully this instruction manual.
The transceiver must be installed by qualified technician or technical service.
Do not attempt to configure the transceiver while driving a vehicle.
This transceiver is designed to be powered with 12 VDC / 24 VDC.
Avoid exposing the transceiver to temperatures below -30ºC and above + 60ºC. In
sometimes the temperature inside a vehicle can be reached up to 80ºC. Do not
expose the transceiver for a long time to direct sunlight.
It is important to turn off the transceiver before starting the vehicle engine to avoid
damage caused by spikes in the ignition.
If you need to replace the fuse, you must use a fuse 5 A, 250 V type F.
If an abnormal odor or smoke is detected coming from the transceiver, turn OFF
immediately and contact witch the Technical Service or salesperson.
Do not try to disassemble, repair or adjust the transceiver, these operations must be
performed by qualified technician.
Do not use alcohol or solvents to clean the transceiver.
Do not transmit without antenna or with a damaged antenna.
Before using this transceiver, verify that it is programmed in the frequency band and
mode of operation allowed by the regulations in the EU Member State where it will
be used. Otherwise, change the multi-standard mode. This transceiver can be pre-
programmed at the factory in a multi-standard mode that is not allowed in the
country of use.
Improper use of this transceiver is the sole responsibility of the user.
