2. If you hold down
, the time will scroll continuously.
3. After about 5 seconds without pressing the button, the
icon will
stop flashing and the appliance will enter the automatic OFF function.
Every 5 seconds or so, the display shows the time, the room temper-
ature and the time remaining before the appliance switches off.
The timer can be stopped at any time as follows:
1. Press
, the
icon disappears from the screen: the timer is
cancelled.
2. Press
, the
icon disappears from the screen: the timer is
cancelled.
3. Press
and the appliance goes into standby mode: the timer is
cancelled.
Presence detector
The presence detector only works when the appliance is in COM-
FORT mode (it does not work in programming mode).
Press the
button to activate this function. The
icon appears
on the screen.
Press the
button again to deactivate the function. The
icon
disappears from the screen.
If no-one is detected by the sensor on the front of the appliance for a
period of 15 minutes, it stops heating.
When the presence of a person is detected again, the heater will
restart.
Note:
The sensitivity of the detector depends on the angle of detection. For
frontal detection, the maximum detection distance is approximately
3.5 m. For detection from the side (at 45° to the appliance), the max-
imum detection distance is approximately 2.5 m.
