CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Allow the unit to cool down completely beore cleaning.

Do not immerse the kettle in water while washing up.

The outside o the kettle may be wiped over with a damp cloth and washingup liquid.

Water stains inside the kettle can be removed by rubbing with a cloth moisten with white
vinegar; rinse the inside with water aterwards.

Limescale should be removed in the ollowing way:
- Fill the kettle with 0.5 litre o water and bring it to boil.
- Switch the kettle o and disconnect the kettle rom the power supply.
- Pour 0.1 litre o white vinegar into the kettle.
- Allow to stand overnight.
- Discard the solution and rinse the inside with water.
- Fill the kettle with 1 litre o water and bring to boil.
- Discard the water and rinse the inside with water.
I the scale is persistent, the cleaning should be done in the ollowing way:
ll the kettle with 0.5 litre o white vinegar.
- Bring the vinegar to boil and leave the hot solution inside the kettle or about 30
minutes.
- Bring the vinegar to boil again.
- Discard the vinegar and rinse the inside with water.
- Fill the kettle with 1.0 litre o water and bring it to boil.
- Discard the water and rinse the inside with water.

No timely removal o the scale rom the heating element results in the heating element's
quicker wear.

Any damage resulting rom applying harsh descalling products available in the market are
not covered by the producer's warranty.

I the power cord is damaged, it can be replaced only by an especially constructed one
(with appropriate plugs and endings).
FILTER
The lter provided is made o mesh retaining scale deposits. The lter does not remove the
scale, but it prevents any deposits rom getting inside the kettle while the water is being
poured in. The lter should be cleaned regularly. Hard water may block the lter ater boiling
water a couple o times. The lter can be removed and rinsed with water or cleaned with a sot
brush.
