How to Remove the Traction Belt

Before removing the belt, disconnect the spark
plug wire.

Remove the belt protection (Fig. 3).
Loosen the belt tension screw (Fig. 4).
Remove the belt from the front pulley of the
transmission unit.
To remove the belt from the rear pulley, slide the belt
over the blade end (Fig. 5).
To assemble the traction belt, invert the previous
steps.
Adjust the pulley tension by tightening the tension
screw.
Replace the belt protection (Fig. 3).
Before you start mowing the grass, make sure the
traction system and the mower will stop properly. If
the traction system will not stop, take it to a TRAPP
authorized service store.
Hold the

lever in
operation
position
For operation safety, the traction system
must be immediately disengaged when the
retractable lever is released. If the traction
system does not disengage properly, do not
operate the mower until it is either adjusted
or fixed by a TRAPP Authorized Technical
Assistant.
