7. Using the Rip Fence 9, move the front and rear
Silver Index Pins 57 to the right by approxi-
mately 1/8 inch.
8. Using the Rail Adjustment Knob 7, move the
Rails 10 so that the position indicator lines up
with "0" on the Rip Fence Top Silver Scale 74,
and lock the Rails 10 in place using the Rail
Lock Lever 6.
9. Slide the Rip Fence 9 towards the Blade 31 un-
til it touches the blade teeth at the front and
back of the Blade 31.
10. Hand tighten the front and back Silver Index
Pins 57 using the Hex Wrench 32. Rotate an ad-

Rails 10, and verify that the Rip Fence 9 is still
in contact with the front and back teeth of the

12. Continue to "Aligning the Rip Fence – Right

NOTE: Before proceeding with alignment of the
Right Black Rip Fence Index Pins 58, the alignment
of the Silver Index Pins 57 must be verified and
adjusted if necessary. (See "Aligning the Rip Fence
– Silver Index Pins" on page 32.)
13. Verify that the Rip Fence 9 and the Silver Rip
Fence Index Pins 57 are aligned correctly ac-
cording to "Aligning the Rip Fence – Silver In-
dex Pins" on page 32.

14. Unlock the Rip Fence Lock Levers 55 at the
front and back of the Rip Fence 9, and remove
the Rip Fence 9 from the Rails 10. Lock the Rail
Lock Lever.
15. With the provided Hex Wrench 32, loosen the
Right Black Rip Fence Index Pins 56 on the
front and back Rails 10 about 1/2 to 1 turn so
that the Pins can slide freely.
16. Using the Fence Alignment Holes 80 in the
Blade Wrench 28, place the Blade Wrench 28
over the Silver Rip Fence Index Pin 56 on the
front Rail 10.
17. If out of alignment, move the front Right Black
Rip Fence Index Pin 56 until the hole in the
Blade Wrench 28 fits over the Pin's head.
18. Hand tighten the Pin 56 using the Hex Wrench
28. Rotate an additional 1/8 turn to secure the
Pin 56.
19. Repeat steps 16-18 for the rear Rip Fence Index
Pin 56.
20. Replace the Smart Guard System's 11 Barrier
Guard Assembly 26 and Anti-Kickback Device
