� Always unplug the extension cord
before removing the machine's power
cable.
� When it's an extension cord reel, unroll
the entire cable;
2.3 - BEfORE OPERATING
Make sure that the machine is only used
by who is familiar with the instruction
manual.
To ensure a safe operation, you must:
� Check the tool before each use.
Make sure the blades are assembled
correctly and in good condition. If
excessive wear or damage occurs,
replace the blades. Never use warped,
deformed or otherwise damaged;
� Check if all nuts and screws are
properly tightened. It is important to
check the machine regularly in order to
ensure its security and efficiency;
� Check if the safety devices are
in perfect conditions and working
correctly. Never use the machine if
any safety device is missing, inhibited,
damaged or worn;
� If the "ON/OFF" switch is damaged or
doesn't allow to control the machine's
operation, it must be repaired or
replaced in order to prevent an
unintentionally start;
� Remove any key or adjustment tool
before switch the machine on. A stuck
key in the rotating accessory might
result in injuries;
Perform all adjustments required to
assemble the power tool correctly, if
you have any questions or problems,
contact your official dealer.
2.4 - WHILE OPERATING
Keep other people away from
the workspace. Never use the
machine
if
animals
particularly children, are nearby.
Keep the workspace clean, organized
and well illuminated (brightness 250
to 300 lux), in order to reduce the risk
of accidents.
Always wear clothing and personal
protective equipment. The use of visor
or goggles, dust mask, ear protection,
non-slip safety footwear, long-sleeved
clothing, gloves and helmet under
proper conditions, reduces the risk of
injury.
The clothing worn while operating
the machine must be appropriate and
tight, such as a work coverall. Do not
wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep
hair, clothing and gloves away from the
moving parts.
To avoid the risk of accidents, the
following
considered:
� While using this tool, place yourself
in a stable position and well balanced.
Hold the machine firmly to ensure a
continuous operation and to withstand
unexpected situations;
� If the cutting blades are blocked,
immediately release the "ON/OFF"
switch and keep the planer still on the
work piece until the rotating accessory
stops completely;
� To avoid displacement or projection of
the work piece, use fastening devices
or a workbench to ensure that you do
the work safely. Place and hold the
work piece in the correct position and
securely in place;
� Never rest the tool before the rotating
tool is completely stopped. The rotating
tool may come into contact with the
bearing surface, causing it to lose
control of the tool;
� Cutting blades may become too hot
during operation. Avoid touching them,
they can cause burns;
or
people,
� Make sure the ventilation grilles are
not obstructed during operation. Do not
insert any objects into the ventilation
precautions

grilles;
� Avoid using the tool on surfaces coated
with paints containing lead or other
materials harmful to health. There are
certain types of dust (oak and beech)
that are classified as carcinogenic
when they have additives for wood
packaging. Contact or inhalation of
dust may cause allergic reactions and/

2.5 - MAINTENANCE ANd
CLEANING
Before
cleaning,
repairing
and
works, the power cable must be
unplugged.
Replace worn or damaged parts
immediately, so that the machine is
always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The machine must be carefully cleaned
after each use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning
products. These products may damage
plastics and metals, compromising the
safe operation of the machine.
Maintenace:
Only maintenance works described in
this instruction manual may be carried
out, all other works must be performed
by an official distributor.
Use
only
blades
or
authorized by VITO for this power
tool or technically identical parts. Not
doing so may result in personal injuries
or damages to the machine. In case of
doubt, you should contact an official
distributor. If you have any questions
or if you lack the necessary knowledge
and resources, you should contact an
official distributor.
2.6 - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
The tool must be repaired only by the
brand official technical service or by
