Information on setting the weekdays:
By pressing "WEEK" repeatedly in programming Mode, the chosen days will appear in the display. If MO (Monday), TU
(Tuesday), WE (Wednesday), TH (Thursday), FR (Friday), SA (Saturday) and SU (Sunday) all appear together in the display,
the program will be valid for the whole week and repeated everyday. If only single days are illuminated, the program
will only be valid for these days. E.g. if you the "1 ON" to Mo 10:00 and "1 OFF" to Sun 18:00, the timer will switch on the
attached device Monday at 10:00 and switch it off not before Sunday 18:00, so it is on the whole week.
Important Note:
Make sure that time slots you do not wish to use, do not contain any data. Press "MODE" to delete the data in
unwanted slots.
Press "CLOCK" to leave the programming Mode.
Setting Interval Control
Press the „SETUP" key and make sure that the unit is in interval Mode ("INT" is displayed on the left, see above). If
necessary, switch the unit to the correct Mode (see above).
In Interval Control, 4 times must be programmed for each time slot. First, the complete time period in which the Interval
Control is to operate must be defined. For this, a time for the start and end of the Interval Control and the day(s) of the
week must be set. Analogue to the timer, „1 ON" and „1 OFF" are programmed. To complete the programming of the
points, press „SETUP" each time, then the programme jumps to the next point. "INT/A" appears on the left of the display.
Now setting the activity time, i.e. the time that a connected unit is to operate. Programming to the second is possible here,
which is particularly useful for misting systems.
If you press „SETUP" again, the programme jumps to "INT/P" in the next step. Set here how long the unit should pause.
In this case, the shortest possible duration is 1 min. All other switching positions (up to 8) are programmed in this way.
Example 1: You have set your PRO Timer II to operate in interval Mode on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 ( "1
ON" ) to 16:00 ( "1 OFF" ). You have set 30 seconds as „INT/A" and 30 min as „INT/P". Then your connected unit will start
on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 sharp and go off after 30 seconds. At 8:30:30 the connected unit will switch
on again for 30 seconds. This will repeat 15 times until 16:00.
Important Notes on the timer logic
We recommend to program the slots in ascending order in regards to time to have a good overview. Also make sure that
the programming of different slots does not overlap or is contradicting to other slots.
E.g. if you program slot 1 to start MO at 10:00:00 and stop at TU 12:00:00 but Slot 2 to be on everyday from 11:00:00 to
13:00:00, the device will switch on Monday at 10:00 o'clock and off at 13:00 o'clock. On Tuesday it will start at 11:00 and
switch of at 12:00 o'clock. The rest of the week will correspond to slot 2.
Starting the Timer (Operating Mode)
Press „MODE" to put the device into the desired operating Mode. "ON" will put the device on the whole time, while
"OFF" will put it permanently off. To activate the timer or interval control, „AUTO ON" or „AUTO OFF" must light up in
the display. In the first case, the connected unit will operate until it receives the next „OFF" pulse that you have set. In
the other case - „AUTO OFF" - the unit remains switched off until the next „ON" impulse comes. Attention: when using
the interval control, we recommend to always start the unit by „AUTO OFF"! When using „AUTO ON", only the start
time is valid, but the unit is not able to execute the programmed intervals and is accordingly permanently on until the
programmed end time of the interval range is reached. This can be fatal, e.g. when controlling a misting system. If, on
the other hand, you set it to „AUTO OFF", connected devices are off until the next „ON" cycle comes and from then on
the intervals can be executed as programmed.
In general, it is recommended to start the PRO Timer II shortly before the next upcoming switching time.
