Technical features
In order to test the contacts correct switching, follow the
below procedure:
1. Remove the cover from the device unscrewing the n.4
fixing screws (fig. 1)
2. Following the indications on the terminal block (fig.
2/2), based on the position of the pointers of switches
(fig. 2/4) and based on the temperature measured by
the thermostat, verify that the contacts are in the
correct status (normally open or normally closed).
3. Keeping the black disk (fig. 2/3) hold, move the pointers
of the switches (fig. 2/4) above or below the
temperature indicated by thermostats in order to make
the commutation of the switches.
CAUTION
It's not allowed to manually move the disk in fig. 2/3 in order to
verify the contacts, because it can damage the device.
4. Verify that the status of switches changed with respect
to point 2.
5. Place again the pointers of the switches at the desired
temperatures.
Operation and
maintenance
No particular maintenance is required.
CAUTION
The minimum oil level needed inside the pocket has to cover the
lenght of 11 cm from the bottom side of the bulb. (Figure 3).

Storage
The devices can be handled without any tools. Handle the
device with care. The thermometers must be stored in the
original packing and in a dry place with temperature in the
range -10÷40°C (14÷104 °F).
Upon receiving the device, please check:
• The outer surface of the packaging to ensure that it is
intact
• That there are no breakages
If damages are found, please contact COMEM (mail:
customerservice@it.comem.com) and provide the
information from the shipping list and the serial number.
In case of pocket according to DIN standard, the quantity of oil
inside the pocket must be 80ml.
