DESCRIPTION
● Switching actuator which can work as:
· 2-channel Switching actuator.
· 1-channel Blind/Shutter actuator.
● It has 4 Analog/Digital inputs, which can be configured
independently, through the ETS:
· Digital inputs (binary): allows the connection of a pushbutton, switch
or conventional binary sensor, free-voltage contact.
· Analog inputs: allows the connection of a temperature probe
(ST KNT 001 or ST KNT 002).
In addition, it allows to enable and configure up to 4 independent
Thermostats.
CHARACTERISTICS
● The Actuator comprises the following components:
· A: Programming button and LED.
· B: Analog/Digital inputs connector.
· C: KNX connector.
· D: Connection of mains cables 230V.
· E: Connection of load cables.
● The 2 outputs can be configured as:
· 1 blind/shutter channel: control of Roller Shutters/Awnings,
Venetian Blinds or Venting Louvers.
· 2 switching channels: control of 2 individual loads.
● In case it is configured as 1-channel blinds/shutters actuator, the
following alarms and functions are available: Wind alarm, Rain
alarm, Frost alarm, Sun Protection function, Scene control and
Forzed function.
● In case it is configured as 2-channel switch actuator, the following
functions are available in each channel: Timer, Preset value, Scene
control, Logical functions, Forzed and Threshold function. Each of
the four inputs has the following functions: Switch, Switch/Dimmer,
Multiple Dimmer, Sequential Switch, Blind Control, Scene Control,
Fixed/Forced Function, Counter and Temperature Sensor.
Channel A - 1: Orange
Channel B - 2: Red
Channel C - 3: Brown
Channel D - 4: Gray
Common - N: Yellow or Black
Built-in Bus Coupler Unit (BCU).
INSTALACIÓN
Work with electrical equipment on the 230V mains
must be carried out only by qualified technicians!.
Switch off the mains before installing, removing or
handling of electrical equipment!.
Follow these steps for installation:
1) Connect the KNX bus to the connecting terminal (C).
2) Connect the load and the power supply to the actuator following
one of the two wiring diagrams:
- Control of 2 independent loads.
Always connect the same input Phase to Channel 1 and 2, do
not use different phases.

3) Connect the inputs as necessary:
- Binary inputs connection.
- Analog inputs connection (ST KNT 001 or ST KNT 002)
4) Switch-on the mains supply.
5) Switch-on the bus supply.
COMMISSIONING
Performance of the product is subject to the parameterization made by
ETS. You can download the application software from our website:
www.dinuy.com.
For the commissioning of the actuator, follow these steps:
1) Allocate the physical adress and parameterize the application
software from the ETS.
2) Press the programming key (A). The green programming LED (A)
will light up and the actuator will be ready for loading the
application software into the device.
3) The programming LED (A) will go off: the application has been
loaded successfully and the dimmer is ready for working.
RESET
Besides enabling the start-up of the device, the programming LED (A)
allows to report a blocking problem of the actuator, lighting the red
LED up. This can only be due to incorrect programming from ETS.
If this situation happens, it is necessary to reset the device:
1 - Disconnect the KNX bus terminal (C).
2 - Press and keep pressed the programming key (A).
3 - Connect again the KNX bus terminal (C).
4 - Release the programming key (A).
CAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS
· The mains supply must be protected according to existing rules.
· Electrical equipment must be installed and fitted by qualified
electricians only and without power supply.
· Disconnect the mains to handle the load, replacing burned-out
lightbulbs, removing or adding new ones.
· When using the actuator as 2 different channels (Fig. 4), always
connect the same input Phase to Channel 1 and 2, do not use
different phases.
· Do not exceed the maximum load of the device.
· It is not permitted connecting signals with any voltage to the Inputs.
Connect only free-voltage contacts or temperature probes.
· In order to prevent interferences, do not run the wires of the Inputs in
parallel with mains voltage or load lines
