Control panel:
TARE - The tare function indicates the weight of the packaging itself. It is the difference between the total
weight of the item with packaging and the weight of the item without packaging. Tare is used to remove
the weight of an item that you do not want to include in the overall weight measurement.

Preparing for use
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not be higher than 40°C and the relative humidity should be less
than 85%. Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device is being used. There should be at least
10 cm distance between each side of the device and the wall or other objects. The device should always be
used when positioned on an even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and be out of the reach of
children and persons with limited mental and sensory functions. Position the device such that you always
have access to the power plug. The power cord connected to the appliance must be properly grounded
and correspond to the technical details on the product label.
3.3.
Device use
Connect the scale to the power supply (batteries or power adaptor). Switch the scale on using the main
switch.
Use the UNIT button to set the weighing units as required.
Wait until the display shows zero before placing any weight on the scale.
Carefully place the object(s) on the platform.
After a few seconds the scale will stabilise and the display will show the weight value.
Piece count function:
When the scale is on, press and hold the COUNT button, then press the UNIT button to select the sample
quantity (25/50/75/100), place the items according to the selected sample quantity (total sample weight
must exceed 300 g), press the COUNT button to confirm. Place all the items to be counted on the weighing
platform, the display will show the total quantity. If all items exceed the maximum load of the scale, the
display will show "O-LD".
Calibration:
Switch on the scale, press and hold the UNIT button until the display shows CAL and then "kg". You can
press the UNIT button to change the calibration unit kg / lb. Press the TARE button to confirm the
selection.
If the unit is kg, the 500 kg calibration weight is 50 kg.
If the unit is lb, the 1100lb calibration weight is 50lb and 100lb.
