Air regulator
-
Control switch in correct position? (vertical)
-
Mesh of the metal ball blocked? (Part No. 28) Pull the ball from the hose
and clean it with an air blow gun.
-
Low ambient temperature. The air, delivered by the compressor, is too
cold in that case and let the liquid in the small hoses freeze.
-
Air pressure to high. More than 6.5 bar (94 psi) air pressure will kink the
small hose in the cleaning gun, responsible for the liquid transport (part
no.22) Hose needs to be replaced.
-
Less maintenance. Detergent residues will block the hose (Part No. 22)
Hose needs to be replaced.
-
Check the air lines and the accessories parts of it.
-
Check if the air regulator in the handle is switched to low air supply and
correct it if needed.
-
Check if your air compressor has enough power. Most important is, how
much air volume the compressor is able to deliver and not how much he
is able to suck. You need 270 l/min at 6 bar to operate the unit proper.
AIR REGULATOR
The TORNADOR® Black requires an air pressure
between 4.5 and 6.5 bar (65-94 psi) to perform to its
full potential.
Many compressors will deliver a higher pressure.
With the air regulator you are in the position to
control the air volume according to your
requirements.
Lower pressure means more liquid, higher pressure
less liquid.
Notice:
Basically we recommend to install an additional
air pressure regulator with max. 6.5 bar (94 psi)
and use the air regulator for fine adjustment.
