Notes on Use

Be it crispy pizza or fresh bread, with the baking
stone you arrive at baking results that are
comparable to those of a solid stone oven, and
which even surpass the stone oven because you
can control the baking temperature exactly
Note: You will also need the additional heating
element for the baking stone.

Proceed as follows

Remove the cover from the socket on the rear
of the oven.

Plug the heating element into the socket in the
rear panel of the oven.

Place the baking stone on the included
gridiron. Fully push the gridiron and the baking
stone over the heating element into the oven at
the lowest shelf position.

Turn the function knob to the Baking Stone
position.
Turn the temperature knob to the required
temperature.

Preheat the oven to the temperature stated in
the recipe until the heating up symbol goes off.
The baking stone is heated by the inserted
heating element. Leave the chosen temperature
level set during the baking time.
Note: Heating up the baking stone requires
more time than the normal heating up of the
oven.

You can use the included wooden pusher to
insert the food you want to bake.
Depending on the size, you can also place several
pizzas on the baking stone at the same time.
You are advised to use the core temperature sensor
when baking bread. Insert the temperature probe
into the thickest point of the dough. The sensor
measures the temperature in the interior of the
baked food and switches off the oven when the set
core temperature has been reached.
Turn the temperature knob to 0 once baking has
finished (if necessary, switch off earlier and use the
residual heat).
After you have finished baking, leave the baking
stone in the oven with the oven door closed to cool
down. Only remove the baking stone and the
heating element from the oven when they are cold.
Note: For normal baking, remove the baking stone
and the heating element from the oven and fit the
cover back in the socket on the rear of the oven.
