Assembling the Tether
WARNING: User must ensure safety tether is secure to avoid injuries, accidents, or
damage to property.
Secure camera to trailer via tether (DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP)
•
A. Remove tether components from packaging (tether cable assembly, clamp
assembly).
B. Insert end of tether cable through hole in heatsink as shown.
C. Pull tether cable through heatsink hole until the cable stop contacts the
heatsink.
D. Insert end of tether cable through either the left or right hole in the camera
bracket depending on the location of the fixing point in relation to camera.
Heatsink
E. Pull tether cable through camera bracket hole to remove tether cable slack
between the heatsink and bracket.
F. Locate a sturdy structural element (such as a ladder, eyebolt, d-ring racket,
etc.) near the intended camera location that is within reach of the provided
tether length and is parallel or above the camera mount.
