ADJUSTING YOUR BIKE
Suspensions adjustment
The front fork and rear shock on your Sherco E-bike offer a variety of adjustment systems.
To fine-tune your bike's suspension settings, we recommend you follow the current instructions provided
by the manufacturers.
Detailed, up-to-date information can be found in the manuals supplied with your bike.
CAUTION
never use your bike when the suspension elements are under- or over-pressurized, as this could result in damage to the components or
represent a risk to your safety or your bike.
Basic adjustments:
The rider's weight and position on the bike are determining factors in the adjustments required for the fork
and rear shock. When you sit on the bike, the fork and shock compress by a certain percentage of its total
travel, known as 'sag'.
• For the rear shock absorber, a sag of between 25% and 30% is recommended.
• For the front fork, the sag should be between 15 and 20% of the travel. (refer to the markings on the
back of the left fork, or to the "Basic settings and values" table,
Sag values can also be adjusted to suit each user's riding style, so it's advisable to do several trials and adjust
rebound and compression to suit your personal preferences.
