Initial pressure is first pumped to 190 mmHg. If the current user's systolic blood pressure
is over 190mmHg, the unit will automatically re-inflate to the proper shelf.
After cuff inflation, air will slowly subside, simultaneously on the display the heart symbol
will flash meaning that heart beat detection is testing.
Note: During testing it is advisable to remain relaxed, avoid speaking or moving
body parts.
Three short beeps sound when testing is complete. The display will display measurements
results.
After reading the test results, turn off the appliance by using the appropriate button, in case
no button will be pressed the unit will turn off itself after about 3 minutes.
Note: Do not be alarmed if an abnormal reading occurs. A better indication of an
individual's blood pressure occurs after 2-3 readings are taken at the same time
each day over an extended period of time. Consult your doctor if test results remain
abnormal.
If the symbol
should appears on the display and four beeps are heard it means that
the batteries life is depleting and need to be replaced.
Should the word "Err" appear on the display, it could be that the cuff has not been posi-
tioned correctly or that the blood pressurization is above 300mmHg. Try to adjust the cuff
and/or relax then try again.
The product is equipped with a memory, with the appliance switched off, it is possible to
check the old test results by pressing the "M" key.
The results memory can be deleted in memory check mode. Press and hold the
button
for about 3 seconds to delete all memory results. The monitor emits an acoustic signal
indicating the cancellation and then goes directly to test mode. Press the
button to
turn off the unit.
Note: The memory cannot be recovered once it has been deleted.
