Keeping Area Clean
Grinding dust and chips that fall under the saw will
accumulate on the floor. Make it a practice to pick up and
discard this dust when you have completed cutting.
Trigger Switch
Your tool can be turned "ON" or "OFF" by squeezing or
releasing the trigger (Figure 6).
NOTE: Switch can accommodate a padlock with a shackle
of up to 3/16" in diameter (not provided with tool) to prevent
unauthorized use.
Head Assembly Lock Pin
The saw should never be locked in the down position when
operating.
To raise head assembly:
1.
Push down on the saw handle.
2.
Pull out the head assembly lock pin, rotate 90 degrees,
and release (Figure 7).
3.
Allow the saw to rise to the up position.
When transporting or storing the miter saw, the cutting head
should always be locked in the down position.
To lock down head assembly:
1.
Push the saw handle down to the lowest position.
2.
Pull out the head assembly lock pin, rotate 90 degrees,
and release to lock the cutting head in the down position.
