Always wear safety goggles, long trousers and sturdy, non-slip footwear when operating the
machine.

Never use the machine in bad weather, especially when there is a risk of lightning.

Only operate the machine in daylight or under good artificial lighting.

Do not use the machine if you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol or medication.

Never use the machine without its safety devices (guard, shield) or with damaged safety
devices.

Always use the support strap supplied.

Only start the engine if your hands and feet are clear of the cutting mechanism.

Stop the machine and remove the plug from the socket. Make sure that all moving parts have
come to a complete stop:
- before abandoning the machine.
- before clearing a blockage.
- before checking, cleaning or repairing the machine.
- after striking a foreign object.
- if the machine starts to vibrate abnormally.

Be careful not to injure your hands or feet when cutting.

Always check that ventilation openings are free of debris and dirt.

Never replace non-metallic parts with metal ones.

Always remain upright and keep your balance. Always adopt an appropriate position on
slopes. Walk and never run with the machine.

Warning: The cutting elements continue to turn after the engine has stopped. Never stop the
action of the cutting device (wire or disc) with your hands. Wait for it to stop by itself.


- Maintenance and storage

When the machine is stopped for inspection, cleaning, storage or changing accessories,
remove the mains plug from the power supply and ensure that all moving parts have come to
a complete stop. Allow the machine to cool down completely before each inspection,
adjustment, etc.

Keep the machine clean and in good repair at all times.

Replace worn or damaged parts to keep the machine safe. Only use spare parts recommended
by the manufacturer and original accessories.

Inspect and clean the machine regularly. Repairs should only be carried out by a professional
repairer.

Store the machine in a clean, dry place, out of the reach of children. Allow the machine to
cool before storing.

Recommandation

We recommend supplying the machine via a residual current device with a breaking current
of 30 mA or less.

If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Use an H05VV-F 2x1mm2 extension cable for outdoor use.

Keep the cable and extension cord away from any cutting elements or sharp parts to avoid
damaging them and coming into contact with live parts.
