Fitting the 2-wire head

Ensure that the bottom flange (D) is correctly fitted.
Secure the drive shaft (E) using a small metal pin (B) by aligning and passing through the hole
in the angle gear (F) and the hole in the bottom flange (D).

Screw the 2-wire head (A) counter-clockwise onto the drive shaft.

Remove the plastic protector from the wire cutter. Never leave this protection in place when
using the 2-thread head.
Removing the 2-thread head

Proceed in reverse order to assembly: put the plastic protection on the thread cutter. Always
replace this protection when using the machine without the 2-thread head.

Unscrew the 2-thread head (A) by turning it clockwise (lock the drive shaft as previously
indicated).
Attaching and adjusting the shoulder strap
Always use the shoulder strap when using the machine. Before removing the strap, turn the on/off
switch to the off position. There is a risk of injury if this instruction is not followed.

Put the strap around your shoulder.

Adjust the length of the strap so that the karabiner is about 10cm below your hips.

Attach the karabiner to the eyelet provided on the machine.

Warning: do not use the machine if the protector is not correctly fitted!
Connecting to the power supply
For safety reasons, this product is fitted with a short power cable. Do not connect the product directly
to the power supply using this power cable. A suitable extension lead is required. Observe the
technical requirements of this product when purchasing an extension lead. The product incorporates a
retaining device to prevent the extension cable from being pulled out.
1. Double the extension lead from the end and hook the loop onto the cable retaining hook (point
4, figure 1). Gently pull on the cable to ensure that it is securely held at the handle.
