The calling module Ref. 1038/16 is made on a
two-module K-Steel structure. To complete the
installation, purchase a back box with module frame
and tamperproof screw frame separately.
FUNCTIONS
The calling module with directory Ref. 1038/16
offers the following functions:
− Forwarding of a door phone call or video door
phone call (in combination with camera unit
Ref. 825/70).
− Automatic door phone or video door phone traffic
management according to the available number
of lines (1 or 2).
− Selection of resident name to be called by means
of scroll buttons and two 16 character row back-lit
alphanumeric display. Up to 740 separate names
can be stored.
− Direct selection of numeric or alphanumeric calling
codes by means of a keypad (in combination with
additional alphabetical keypad Ref. 1038/73). Up
to 159999 separate calling codes are available
with this option.
− Managing of up to two direct call buttons (in
combination with module Ref. 825/201 or 825/202)
for calling specific users or concierge
switchboard.
− Capability storing release up to 980 door codes
split into two categories: 240 generic codes (not
linked to names) and 740 codes associated to
names.
− Up to 7999 special service codes.
− Impulse door release (free or privacy) with hold
current for timed control (from 1 to 30 seconds) of
low current consumption electric locks.
− Electric lock release tone and visual indication.
− Programmable call tone from one to five seconds.
− Differentiated call tone (continuous for main
calling module, intermittent for secondary calling
module).
− "Call forwarded" and "End of conversation" tones.
− Adjustable service tone volume.
− Door relese sensor interface.
− Programmable names via programming terminal
Ref. 1038/55-/56. The program can be accessed
directly from the external keypad without requiring
the programming terminal for minor editing.
− Auto-on function without extra wiring.
− Provision for operation in 16 languages.

1) K-Steel two module front panel.
2) Back-lit, two 16 character row alphanumeric
display.
3) Back-lit, yellow name buttons.
4) Back-lit, green numeric keypad with back-lit
yellow function buttons X,
5) Removable terminal boards for system
connections (MP1, MP2, MS).
6) Additional alphabetic
(Ref. 1038/73).
7) Device serial number label (S/N).
8) Programming terminal Ref.1038/55 connector.
9) Calling module speaker volume trimmer.
10) Programming button (to be used only if the
password is unknown).
11) D isplay contrast trimmer.
12) Removable terminal boards for local auxiliary
services (MA) and video signals (MV).
