METHODS
The names can be managed as follows:
1) Via personal computer and programming
terminal Ref. 1038/55-/56.
2) Via programming terminal Ref.1038/55-/56,
connected locally or to any other point in the
system, mainly for editing, deleting and minor
additions.
3) Locally, via keypad, mainly for editing, deleting
and minor additions. In this case, you will
need to know the name and door opener code
programming password (DIFFERENT from the
configuration password).
NAME MANAGEMENT VIA PERSONAL COMPUTER
AND TERMINAL 1038/55-/56
The best way to manage names is to use the
DVOICE program for Personal Computer which was
specifically designed to simplify the data entry and
name related maintenance operations in one or more
sites. The DVOICE program can be downloaded
free of charge from the Urmet Domus Internet site
(http://www.urmetdomus.it).
The installer (or condominium administrator) can:
− store the site name in the PC.
− transfer the name database from the PC to the
programming terminal 1038/55-/56.
− transfer the name database to one or more calling
modules in the site (by connecting the terminal to
any point in the site).
The various operations are described in greater
detail below.
Storing the database on PC
Use the DVOICE program to create a new site on the
PC and store the residents' names along with other
pertinent information (e.g. door opener codes). See
the DVOICE program for other information.
Transferring the database from the PC to the
Terminal 1038/55-/56
− Connect the programming terminal to the
predefined PC serial port with the specific wire
provided.
− Set the DVOICE program to download the
database to the site on terminal.
− Switch the terminal on. The following will appear
on the display:

− Select <PC> and press ↵. The following will
appear:
<PC-PT>
<PT-PC>
<Exit>
− Select <PC-TP>, press ↵ and answer yes to the
confirm. The data transfer from PC to terminal will
be started.
− Return to the main page when the transfer is
complete. Switch the terminal off and disconnect
the wire from the PC.
Checking and editing the database
The name database can be examined and edited
after being loaded to the terminal. Simply select the
<Database> option on the main page and choose
one of the following:
<Display>
<Insert>
<Modify>
<Delete><Esc>

− After establishing a logical connection with the
required Call module (see "PROGRAMMING VIA
TERMINAL 1038/55"), go to the following page:
<Names>
<Lock Rel.>
<Program>
<Cancel><Exit>
− Select <Names> and press ↵. The name mana-
gement menu will appear:
<Insert>
<Modify>
<Delete><Esc>
<REP-PT><PT-REP>
− Select <TP-REP>, press ↵ and answer yes to
confirm. The data transfer from the terminal to
the selected module will be started.
− Disconnect the wire and hold the "OFF" button
pressed for longer than three seconds to switch
