ACCESSORIES SUPPLIED WITH THE BOAT
Dry bag 135 litres, 2 pieces of compression stra-
ps to tighten the rolled up boat, a user's manual,
a foam sponge, an adhesive set with glue and patches, a valve
reducer, 1 spare screw and a plastic nut, a screw-in holder
fi xture + plastic fi shing rod holder, a mirror to fi x the motor
+ fi xtures, a 6mm hexagonal key, metal key for valves.

3. Instructions for Infl ating the Boat
Unfold the boat. Insert the base board into the bottom of the
boat (26) to reinforce the bottom of the boat.
Install 4 stainless steel fi xtures behind the mirror (19): Attach
the stainless steel fi xture on the front of the mirror with
the reinforcement using the longer screw (35mm) with the
smaller washer (8x24mm). Fasten all stainless steel fi xtures
to the mirror in this manner - refer to detail D. Then, insert
the stainless steel fi xtures on the mirror into the fi xtures on
the cylinder (20) and fasten using the shorter screws (16 mm)
with the bigger washer (10x30mm) – refer to detail E.
Attach the splashguard with the rope (22) into the splash-
guard fi xtures (21).
Fasten the wooden seat (9), using the screws and plastic
nuts, into the fi xtures on the valves (10) – refer to detail A.
Thanks to the openings (31), the wooden seats (9) can be
used to fasten the fi shing accessories.
When using the infl atable seat, slide the wooden seat (9) into
the fi xtures (34) on the bottom side of the infl atable seat (25)
- refer to detail F. Then, infl ate the seat (infl ating the screw
valve – refer to picture 2).
Attach the back rest of the infl atable seat (25) with the
threaded strap (33) onto the back of the fi xture with the plas-
tic buckle (27) on the side cylinders – refer to detail G.
Infl ate the air chambers in the following order:
bottom (1), then the side cylinders (2). Use a foot pump or
piston pump with a valve adaptor for infl ating - see Figure
2b (the adaptor is included in the glue set). Check the conditi-
on of the valves before infl ating. Tighten the valves with the
assembly key - see Fig. 2c. Set the valves in the OFF positi-
on. Valve handling - Refer to Fig. 2. Infl ate the air chambers
until they are fi rm but not completely stiff . The air chamb-
ers should provide a feeling comparable to squeezing a
ripe orange. You can check the exact operating pressure
by using a suitable pressure gauge (optional accessory)
– see Figure 2a. Below the front board, there will be space
for baggage, which you can secure against falling out with
the fl exible rope with snap hooks (16). The outboard engine
is mounted onto the transom (19) once the boat has been
fully infl ated. When performing the assembly, avoid clam-
ping the fl exible rope apron (22) between the engine's body
and the transom – see detail B. The battery can be attached
to the engine by interlacing the compression strap (used to
hold down the packed boat) with fi xtures (23) – see detail C.
ATTENTION
The maximum operational pressure in the air chambers
is 0.02 MPa. If the ambient temperature increases (e. g.
owing to sunlight), the pressure in the air chambers of the
boat can rise rapidly. We recommend releasing some air
from all air chambers of the boat after pulling it out of the
water. Possible destruction of the air chambers will thus
be prevented.
However, do not forget to continuously monitor the air
pressure in the chambers afterwards, too. A correspon-
ding reduction in operating pressure is up to 20 % within
24 hours.
ATTENTION
When using the boat, always seal the valves with their val-
ve caps. This will keep dirt out of the valves. Dirt cancause
leaky valve seals.
4. Using the Boat
ALFONSO is a universal, three-seat boat with an open transom
for a multitude of purposes (pleasure cruising, fi shing, etc.).
Whenever the boat is used on waterways, Waterway Traffi c
Rules have to be observed. Operation of the ALFONSO in-
fl atable boat does not require any licence provided that the
people who operate the boat know the techniques of small
boat operation within the scope necessary for its operation,
as well as the valid navigation rules of the particular count-
ry. The design of the boat permits it to be operated in stan-
ding and slow watercourse of diffi culty grades up to WW2.
This is only a recommended use, it always depends on the
specifi c abilities of the user! To drive the boat, use longer
canoe paddles, oars or an engine with a maximum power
of 3,7 kW. While riding, all persons must be seated in their
designated positions and must be wearing life jackets. If wa-
ter becomes present inside the boat, remove it by pulling the
blanket with fl exible rope (22) beneath the boat bottom level.
