MAIN BROOM DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
It is advisable to wear protective gloves when
replacing the main broom because there can be
sharp debris between the bristles.
1. Drive the machine on a smooth and level ground.
2. Turn the main switch (A, Fig. 12) to "0".
3. Remove the hopper (B, Fig. 12).
4. On the left side of the machine, loosen the handwheels
(A, Fig. 13) completely.
5. Remove the door (A, Fig. 14) by grasping it on the points
(B).
6. Grasp the main broom (A, Fig. 15) on the points (B) and
(C), then disconnect it from the drive hub (D) by pulling it
in the direction shown by the arrow (E); then remove it in
the direction shown by the arrow (F).
7. Install the new broom with the bristles rows (A) inclined
as shown in the figure.
8. Install the new broom by performing steps 3 to 6 in the
reverse order.
9. Adjust the main broom height as shown in the previous
paragraph.
