Installation and operation

9. Connect the appliance to an alternating current source

10. To prevent short circuits or other hazards, make sure

that the plug is correctly inserted in the power socket
and is not loose.

11. To unplug the appliance from the power socket, always
hold the plug and never pull on the power cable.
12. Do not connect the appliance to an external timer or
remotely controlled power system.
13. Never immerse the appliance or its components, the
power cable or the plug in water or other liquids.
14. Do not clean the power cable in a dishwasher.
15. Never touch the appliance or the cable with wet hands.
16. The appliance is designed for domestic use only, or
for use in similar facilities, e.g.
ƒkitchenettes in offices, shops or other workplaces,
ƒfarms,
ƒkitchenettes for guests in hotels, motels, hostels,
ƒbed and breakfast accommodations and holiday
homes.
17. Never place the appliance on a hot or wet surface or
on a metal tray.
18. Do not place the appliance or the cable close to naked
flames.
19. Always use the fryer on an uncluttered, level and heat-
resistant surface.
20. Make sure there is sufficient distance (at least 30 cm)
to walls or other objects.
21. Do not place any objects on the appliance.
22. Never operate the appliance near flammable materials
such as curtains, etc.
