3.4 KEY SIDE CLAMPING
There are some key models that, in addition to being cut on the front of the
blade, are also cut on the reverse.
In these cases, the clamp allows these keys to be clamped so that the reverse
can be cut or read.
The key may require clamping with a "collar stop" or "tip stop".
4.- TOOLS
4.1 CUTTER REPLACEMENT
1) Lift the transparent protector from the machine.
2) Turn the cutter clamping lever (T7) with one hand anticlockwise (towards
OPEN) in order to open the head's internal chuck and release the cutter (F).
At the same time, remove the cutter (F) with the other hand by pulling it
downwards.
3) Insert the new cutter (F) into the cutter-holder (T6) opening until it reaches
the internal stop.
VERY IMPORTANT: before inserting the new cutter (F), ensure that its tip
is free of swarf. To do this, it is recommended to clean it using a brush or
pressurised air gun.
