SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the instructions in this manual carefully, as they provide important information on safe
installation, use and maintenance. KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY FOR
FUTURE USE.
Remove the packaging and check that the appliance is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the
appliance and contact your dealer.
Do not use this hoover if it is damaged or appears to be defective.
Do not operate this hoover until all parts have been assembled.
Do not allow children to play with the packaging material (such as plastic bags).
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the data on the rating plate (sticker on the
appliance) corresponds to the data of your domestic electrical supply.
Use the hoover only under the conditions described in this manual. Any other use is not
recommended and may result in fire, injury or electric shock.
This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or without experience or knowledge, if they are
properly supervised or if they have been given instructions on the safe use of the appliance and
the risks involved have been understood. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
To disconnect from the power supply, grasp the plug and pull it out. DO NOT PULL ON THE
CORD.
The operation of any electrical appliance must be continuously supervised in the presence of
children. This appliance is not a toy.
Make sure that the location of the appliance is stable.
This appliance is intended for household use only. Any servicing other than cleaning or routine
maintenance by the user should be done by a qualified electrician.
DO NOT TOUCH THE APPLIANCE WITH WET OR DAMP HANDS OR FEET.
DISCONNECT THE PLUG FROM THE SOCKET BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY
MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING.
Do not use the appliance in the immediate vicinity of bathtubs, washbasins, showers,
swimming pools, etc.
The use of this appliance in a bathroom volume 0 or 1 is strictly forbidden.
Do not immerse the appliance in water.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not disassemble the motor unit.
There is no reason to open the motor unit to find any useful parts as it does not contain any.
Only authorised personnel should carry out repair work.
This appliance is strictly for domestic use only.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
department or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
