14.2 Replacing the activated charcoal filter
Depending on the frequency of use of the extractor hood, replace the activated
charcoal filter every six months. The activated charcoal filter cannot be washed
or re-used.
In order to guarantee proper absorption of the odours, the volume of activated
charcoal must match the extraction capacity of the hood. The high quality of the
activated charcoal guarantees efficient absorption of the kitchen odours with
normal operation. Therefore use only original filters and replace at regular
intervals.
•
Disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply.
•
Open the extractor hood by pressing the lock on the metal filter cassette.
•
Carefully remove the metal filter cassette.

Unscrew the activated charcoal filter. Remove it and dispose of with
household waste.
•
Fit new activated charcoal filters on both sides of the motor. Press the
filters onto the plastic lugs and turn them clockwise until they click into
place.

Reinstall the metal filter in the reverse order.
•
Connect the appliance to the power supply again.

become loose and damage could occur.
