4 Sequence of operations
Removing and installing the C-pillar trim
Special tools and workshop equipment required
◆ Wedges -T10383-
◆ Cleaning solution D 009 401 04
Removing
– Carefully separate and remove the C-pillar trim from the rear
side frame using the wedges -T10383- -8- -arrows-.
Note
It is not possible to remove the C-pillar trim and the retaining
clips without damaging them!
Installation
Special tools and workshop equipment required
◆ Roller -3356-
◆ Hot air blower -V.A.G 1416-
◆ Cleaning solution D 009 401 04
Installation is carried out in the reverse of this order. Please
note the following point:
– Clean the bonding surface on the paint side with cleaning
solution D 009 401 04.
– Remove adhesive residue after removing the C-pillar trim.
