It is programmed
as follows
This function may be used in two different ways:
- to switch an element off automatically
- as a timer
WARNING: The timer should not be used as a safety measure in order to leave the
cooktop unsupervised during use, especially at high temperatures. Breaded items
can smoke. Overheated food and oil can catch on fire. Supervise the cooktop even
if the time program is on.
Enter the time period for the required element. The element will switch off
automatically once this time has elapsed.
The cooktop must be switched on.

Select the element and heat setting required. Then press the TIMER symbol.
The 00 and Min indicators light up on the time programming function display.
The (:_ indicator lights up on the selected element.

Program time using the 0 to 9 symbols or using the + and - symbols. The basic
settings are displayed.
+ symbol: 30 minutes
- symbol: 10 minutes

Once the time has elapsed
Correcting
the time
Cancelling the automatic
OFF function
After a few seconds, the programmed time will start to count down.
The last programmed cooking time will appear in the display.
The element switches off once this time has elapsed. You will hear a beep. The
indicators ,'_q and Q blink on the element. The indicators switch off and the display
beep turns off by pressing the TIMER symbol.
Select the element and then press the TIMER symbol. Change the cooking time
using the 0 to 9 symbols or using the + and - symbols.
Select the desired element press the TIMER symbol. Then press the 0 or - symbol
until nn
uu is displayed. The G indicator will go out.
