After assembly, check the automatic resetting of the cylinder cam

from the positions 9 to 12 o'clock and 12 to 3 o'clock! While doing,
also check the panic function of the lock with the deadbolt in locked
position! If the locking cam is coupled, both knobs will turn. Check
CHECK!
cylinder on proper function.

3.2 Installing ixalo cylinders 5917 | 5918
One reading unit must be removed in order to install cylinders with electronics on both sides. The
same principle also applies to knob cylinders if, for example, after installing the cylinder, switch
covers must be installed or installation from the front is not possible.
When working with electronic components take care for appropriate earthing to protect compo-
nents from electronic discharging.
Do not touch any electronic components!
